Klingner-Cope Community Outreach hosts free workshops, seminars, and remembrance events intended to enhance the well-being and overall health of the Springfield community throughout the course of the year.

All of our Community Outreach events are free of charge and open to all, regardless if they have been served by our company.


OUR OUTREACH PROGRAMS & EVENTS


Healing Path Workshop Series
The Healing Path Workshop Series focuses on practical "next steps" in the healing journey after the loss of a loved one. Each workshop will have a different speaker and a different topic of interest.
Champions of Freedom Appreciation Luncheon
Local veterans and their families are invited to attend our annual “Champions of Freedom” Appreciation Luncheon. This free event will show gratitude and acknowledgement to our veterans.
Light of Hope Community Candlelight Remembrance
A beautiful and moving event designed to bring the community together to remember those we’ve lost. The lighting of candles in remembrance of loved ones is an impactful, visual ceremony.
“Always In My Heart” Valentine Luncheon
February 14th can be a difficult day for those of us who are grieving. For some, it will be the first Valentine’s Day without our loved one. Please join us for a special, uplifting time of honoring and remembering.
Youth Essay Contest
Open to all Springfield area middle and high school students, we hope our annual Youth Essay Contest will inspire young people in our community to learn more about the true meaning of Memorial Day.
Mother’s Day Memorial Butterfly Release
The loss of a mother, child, or other loved one can make Mother’s Day a very sad time of year. In remembrance of those who touched our hearts and shaped our lives, we invite all members of our community to our Memorial Butterfly Release.
Memorial Day Patriotic Remembrance
Designed to show dedication and appreciation to local veterans and military members, this family-friendly community event will also include the presentation of awards to the winners of our Youth Essay Contest.
Father’s Day Rose Ceremony Remembrance
Uniquely inspiring, the hour-long program supports loss of parent, loss of child, and general loss. This is a free and family-friendly community event open to the entire public.
Never Forget Tribute
During the month of September, Klingner-Cope Community Outreach will exhibit a 3,000 American flag display in remembrance of Sept. 11, 2001. Each flag is placed in honor of a civilian, emergency responder or military member who lost their life in the tragedy.

A special community event to commemorate National Infant & Pregnancy Loss Remembrance Day.
